Put Arphie and AutoRFP.ai through the same three questions a security reviewer will ask: ISO 27001, SOC 2, and whether you can keep the tenancy in the US or the EU. Cells say **Not listed** when we could not find the claim on a public vendor page.

## Slack and Microsoft Teams

During a live questionnaire, SMEs get pinged in Slack or Teams, not in a vendor portal. Here is what Arphie and AutoRFP.ai publish for those two connections.

## Subprocessors: the big three clouds, then the niche names

Compare Arphie and AutoRFP.ai on AWS, Azure and GCP first. Then scan for niche processors a reviewer should pause on: third-party LLMs, session replay, or support that leaves the region you elected.

**Short answer:** Pick [AutoRFP.ai](/autorfp-ai) if you want the accuracy-first tool for writing winning responses in a workflow that is easy to run: drafts written only from approved content, with sources shown, a library that files what you approve, and a price you can read before the first call ($899 a month for 24 projects a year, or $1,299 a month for 50, unlimited users, billed annually) plus ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type II, with hosting you can elect in the United States, the European Union, or Australia. Pick [Arphie](/arphie) if the answers your team trusts already sit in Google Drive, SharePoint, Confluence, Seismic, Highspot, or Vanta, and you want drafts drawn from those live connections with the source files and a confidence level beside them. Both are AI-native. Arphie’s strength is those live connections. AutoRFP.ai’s strength is accuracy you can check, responses written to win, and a day-to-day workflow that stays easy.

Arphie was founded in 2023 and is headquartered in San Francisco. Its own site, checked for this guide in October 2026, describes a $2.9 million seed round led by General Catalyst. The published customer names in its record include Navan, Front, Contentful, Qualys, Recorded Future, Braze, commercetools, and Cyberhaven. The product is aimed at presales and sales-engineering teams who would like the questionnaire to come from documents they already keep, with less hand-kept library work.

AutoRFP.ai started in 2022 and lists its headquarters in Brisbane, Australia. Its profile in this guide describes structured RFPs that arrive as Word or Excel, the files software and finance teams actually receive. Each line is written from approved content and shows whether it came from a file, a teammate, or the model. Named customers are not listed on that profile, so this page does not invent any. What the profile does list is a public price, a review sample, and a security packet with regions.

Everything below comes from each vendor’s profile and fact file in this guide, checked against the pages named in the sources. Marketing percentages about how often a first draft is accepted are left out. Neither figure is an independent benchmark.

## Key takeaways

- **A number, or a form:** AutoRFP.ai lists Scale at $899 a month (24 projects a year) and Accelerate at $1,299 a month (50 projects a year), paid yearly, with unlimited users. Arphie is quote-only. Its pricing note says the price list is not public and every path goes through the contact form.
- **Where a draft may look:** Arphie drafts from live connections and shows the underlying source files plus a confidence level. AutoRFP.ai writes from approved content. This guide’s profile records that, among the tools reviewed here, it is the only one that traces each line to a specific source, a person, or the AI.
- **Paperwork:** Arphie lists SOC 2 Type 2\. AutoRFP.ai lists ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type II, and customers elect US West (Oregon), EU Central (Frankfurt), or Asia Pacific (Australia East, Sydney).
- **Review sample:** AutoRFP.ai holds 4.8 out of 5 on G2 from 60 reviews, and 4.8 out of 5 on Gartner from 20 reviews, both as of July 2026\. This guide’s Arphie record does not include a review count, so no Arphie score is stated here.
- **A genuine Arphie strength:** live connections into the drives, wikis, and enablement tools presales teams already use, plus Vanta for compliance evidence, and a Slack bot, a browser agent for portals, and an MCP server.
- **Limitations:** Arphie describes SAML single sign-on as a feature for Enterprise customers. AutoRFP.ai caps projects on the published plans and does not bundle a trust center.

## Both are AI-native. The draft still has a boundary.

Calling either product “the AI one” does not help you buy. Arphie’s tagline in this guide is AI-native RFP and DDQ drafting from live-connected sources. AutoRFP.ai’s short machine-facing description, the one this guide uses, is source-grounded AI for structured Word and Excel RFPs. AI-native is a category both of them sit in. What you are choosing is the rule for what the model is allowed to read.

Arphie’s platform evidence, recorded from its own site as of October 2026, says it drafts first passes from live-connected sources, with deadlines, approvals, and a browser agent for portals. Its source-attribution note says the product displays the exact underlying source files and the corresponding confidence level next to every generated draft. That citation-forward design is a real strength. A reviewer can open the file the sentence came from. For a mid-market security questionnaire, where the evidence already lives in Vanta and the policies live in Drive, that path matches how the team actually works.

AutoRFP.ai states its accuracy claim as a design with the mechanism in the same breath. Zero hallucination by design: AutoRFP.ai writes only from approved content, cites its sources, and routes anything it cannot support to a person. The same profile says reviewers see the whole trail, which is what makes checking a draft a reading job. A winning response, in the sense this comparison uses, is correct, complete, and in your company’s voice. Correct means written from approved sources with those sources shown. Complete means the requirement is answered in full. In your voice means the draft reads like your company, because generation draws on content the team has already approved.

Those are different promises. Arphie will go and read the live document. AutoRFP.ai will stay inside what the team has approved, show which kind of material produced the line, and hand an unsupported question to a person. If your SharePoint is the system of record and it is tidy, Arphie’s reach is the feature you came for. If three copies of the retention policy sit in that same SharePoint and only one of them is current, the narrower boundary is the feature.

## What the reviewer actually sees

Arphie shows source files and a confidence level. Its library note says it manages library health with automated clustering, duplicate Smart Merge actions, and content health scores. Collaboration on the profile is deadlines and approvals. The facts file, citing G2 as of July 2026, records basic role permissions, tasks, and comments.

AutoRFP.ai’s key features describe line-level citations, a self-building library (every approved response is added and tagged automatically), and real-time collaboration with assignments, reminders, and an audit trail of who edited and approved each answer. Import covers Excel, Word, PDF, and online portals through a browser extension. Export writes answers back into the buyer’s original file, with macros, formulas, and templates kept. That round trip is the part a fund manager or a security reviewer notices, because the buyer asked for their workbook back.

Neither profile publishes an independent accuracy study. The useful test is still the same afternoon: take last quarter’s questionnaire, remove the answers, and run it in both products if you can get access. Count usable citations, citations that point at the wrong passage, and questions handed to a person. Arphie does not offer a self-serve trial in this record, so that test may have to wait for a proof environment. AutoRFP.ai says a proof of concept is available before you commit, and the offer this guide attaches to an evaluation is a two-week proof of concept on your own RFPs.

## Who files the next answer

Both vendors talk about less manual upkeep. They put the remaining work in different chairs.

Arphie’s summary says live connections cut down on answer-library upkeep. The library still exists: compliance-minded teams keep approved Q&A, and Smart Merge is there to collapse duplicates, preferring the more recently updated material in the way the product describes clustering and health scores. The day-to-day picture is a presales team whose documents stay in the tools they already open. The library is a layer on top of those documents, not a second job for a full-time librarian. That is a credible fit for growth-stage and public companies whose content is spread across several drives, which is exactly the “who it is for” line on the profile.

AutoRFP.ai’s library story is that the software does the filing. The profile says you do not need to maintain an answer library by hand: it learns from past responses and adds every approved answer automatically, so the content stays current without a separate curation shift. Teams that already have a library are told they can bring it. Connected sources named on the profile include SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive, Confluence, and Notion. The content owner still decides what gets approved. The mundane part, capturing the approved answer and keeping it attached to the project that produced it, is what the product takes.

If you already employ someone whose job is the library, Arphie’s live-read model and AutoRFP.ai’s auto-file model both leave that person in charge of approval. They disagree about whether that person has to copy a paragraph into the library before the next draft can see it. Arphie says the connection is enough. AutoRFP.ai says the approved answer, once accepted, becomes the next source.

## Pricing you can budget, and pricing you cannot

Prices below are the ones each record publishes. Arphie’s column is intentionally empty of dollars.

| | Arphie | AutoRFP.ai |

| Free tier | No | No. A 30-day money-back guarantee, and a proof of concept before you commit |
| SSO | SAML described as an Enterprise-customer feature | Okta is on the published integration list |

**AutoRFP.ai** at the list price is $10,788 a year on Scale ($899 times 12) and $15,588 a year on Accelerate ($1,299 times 12). A project, in the profile’s own FAQ, is one bid: an RFP, DDQ, or tender, whatever its size. Every plan includes unlimited users, all features, and implementation. There is no per-seat line to negotiate when the lawyer and the security engineer both need access. The ceiling is the project count. Bid 25 on Scale, or bid 51 on Accelerate, and you are in a conversation about Enterprise.

**Arphie** publishes no dollar figure, no plan names, and no free tier. G2’s pricing entry for the product, checked October 2026, is recorded here as custom. The contact form is the buying path. That is normal for a young company selling to presales leaders, and it is also the reason finance cannot put a number in the budget before the meeting. Ask, in writing, whether the quote moves with concurrent projects, with seats, or with both, and whether SAML means the Enterprise paperwork.

What you can say without Arphie’s quote: AutoRFP.ai is the accuracy-first tool you can also cost before anyone picks up the phone, as long as 24 or 50 projects a year covers the work. Winning responses come from approved content, with sources shown, in a workflow that is easy to run. Arphie is the one you cost after a conversation, which is acceptable when the live-source fit is the reason you are in the room.

## Certificates, regions, and who else touches the data

This is the section a security reviewer will read twice.

Arphie lists SOC 2 Type 2\. Its security page, as recorded in the facts file (October 2026), describes SAML 2.0 and Google single sign-on as a feature for Enterprise customers. The record does not name a hosting region, and it does not list ISO 27001\. Do not treat that silence as a failure. Treat it as a question to ask: where the tenant sits, and whether the SOC 2 report you will be shown is the Type 2 report the marketing line names.

AutoRFP.ai lists ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type II, both sourced to its trust center as of August 2026\. Hosting is customer-elected: US West (Oregon), EU Central (Frankfurt), and Asia Pacific in Australia East (Sydney), sourced to the subprocessors page as of August 2026\. The named subprocessors on that page are Amazon Web Services for core infrastructure, Microsoft Azure for AI services used in drafting, Google Cloud for Firestore and the translations API, Intercom for in-product support, Firecrawl for an optional public-URL crawl, and Datadog for analytics. Two cautions are already written into the profile. Intercom support traffic is listed as United States hosting for US, EU, and Asia Pacific tenants. Firecrawl runs only when someone uses the crawl feature, and it can be excluded.

AutoRFP.ai does not ship a trust center you hand to prospects. The profile is explicit: it connects to Drata and Vanta, and the trust portal stays in those products while approved compliance context can flow into questionnaire answers. Arphie’s Vanta connection is the closer match if the job is “read the evidence we already store in Vanta and draft from it.” AutoRFP.ai’s Vanta and Drata connections are listed so compliance context can enter the answer, while the public trust site remains the other vendor’s.

Slack is on both profiles. Microsoft Teams is on AutoRFP.ai’s. Arphie’s collaboration surface in this record is the Slack bot, plus the browser agent and the MCP server for querying projects from other tools. If your experts live in Teams, that absence on Arphie’s list is a buying fact, not a style preference.

## The rest of the stack

Arphie’s integration list in the facts file, sourced to arphie.ai as of July 2026 unless noted, names Google Drive, SharePoint, Confluence, Notion, Seismic, Highspot, Salesforce, Slack, Vanta, Box, Dropbox, and Egnyte. Seismic and Highspot matter if sales engineering already files the approved deck there. Vanta matters if the security questionnaire is mostly “paste the control that is already true in the GRC tool.”

AutoRFP.ai’s profile names Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Slack, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive, Confluence, Notion, Drata, Vanta, Okta, Excel, Word, a browser extension, and an MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot. The key-features line says 18 or more CRM, storage, chat, and compliance integrations, plus a Salesforce AppExchange app. This page does not turn that list into a “widest coverage” claim. It names what each profile actually lists.

The overlap is the common core: Salesforce, Slack, Google Drive, SharePoint, Confluence, and Notion. The Arphie-only names in these two records are Seismic, Highspot, Box, Dropbox, and Egnyte. The AutoRFP.ai-only names are HubSpot, Dynamics 365, OneDrive, Drata, Okta, Microsoft Teams, the Office file round trip, and the MCP server as AutoRFP.ai describes it. If your stack is Highspot plus Vanta and a Slack channel, Arphie’s list was written for you. If your stack is HubSpot or Dynamics, Teams, and Okta, AutoRFP.ai’s list was written for you.

## Known issues and limitations

### Arphie

- **No public price:** the facts file records that the price list is not publicly accessible and every buying path routes through the [contact form](https://www.arphie.ai/contact) for a custom quote (checked October 2026). G2’s pricing entry is [custom](https://www.g2.com/products/arphie/pricing).
- **SSO on the Enterprise description:** single sign-on (SAML 2.0 and Google) is described on the [security page](https://www.arphie.ai/security) as a feature for Enterprise customers (checked October 2026).
- **Generation time, in the reviewers’ summary:** this guide’s Arphie facts, sourced to [G2](https://www.g2.com/products/arphie/reviews) and checked October 2026, say reviewers from June to September 2026 report that AI answer generation takes a while to finish on a project.
- **No hosting region in the record:** the profile lists SOC 2 Type 2 and does not name a US, EU, or Australia region. Ask before you sign if residency is a requirement.

### AutoRFP.ai

- **Project ceilings:** Scale covers 24 projects a year and Accelerate covers 50\. Heavier volume is a custom Enterprise quote, per the [pricing page](https://autorfp.ai/pricing) and the profile note (checked October 2026).
- **Annual billing, no free plan:** plans are billed annually. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee and a proof of concept, and there is no free tier.
- **Smaller public review sample:** 60 G2 reviews and 20 Gartner reviews as of July 2026, on a company that started in 2022\. The scores are 4.8 out of 5 on both sites. The sample is the sample.
- **No bundled trust center:** prospects still get their trust packet from Drata or Vanta. AutoRFP.ai connects to those products. It does not replace them. Long-form persuasive writing and US government capture management are also outside the profile’s scope.

## Choose Arphie when

- The people answering are presales or sales engineers, and the freshest paragraph already lives in a drive, a wiki, or an enablement tool.
- Vanta holds the compliance evidence you keep pasting into questionnaires.
- You want source files and a confidence level on the draft, and a browser agent for portals plus a Slack bot.
- Seismic or Highspot is where approved sales content actually lives.
- A custom quote, and SAML described as an Enterprise feature, are acceptable once the live-source fit is proven.
- You are buying a citation-forward drafting workflow, and you do not need a published ISO 27001 certificate on the page to start the conversation.

## Choose AutoRFP.ai when

- You sell software or financial services, and the work arrives as Word or Excel questionnaires, DDQs, and security reviews that must go back in the buyer’s file.
- Finance wants $899 or $1,299 a month, billed annually, in the shortlist slide before sales is invited.
- Security, legal, and product all need seats, and you do not want a per-seat negotiation. Unlimited users are on every published plan.
- You want ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type II on the trust center, and you may need the tenant in Oregon, Frankfurt, or Sydney.
- Accuracy has to be a mechanism you can point at: Zero hallucination by design, writes only from approved content, cites its sources, and routes anything it cannot support to a person.
- You will use the two-week proof of concept on your own RFPs, and 24 or 50 projects a year covers the volume.

## Verdict

Same category, different contract with the source material. Arphie’s genuine strength is the live connection: Drive, SharePoint, Confluence, Seismic, Highspot, Vanta, with the file and a confidence level in front of the reviewer, sold on a custom quote from a San Francisco company founded in 2023\. AutoRFP.ai’s genuine strength is accuracy-first winning responses in a workflow that is easy to run: the draft writes only from approved content, cites each line, the library files what the team accepts, and a price, a user count, certificates, and three hosting regions are on the page.

Inside a presales team whose documents are already the library, Arphie is the fit to test. Inside a software or finance response team that wants accuracy you can check, responses written to win, and a workflow that is easy to run, AutoRFP.ai is the fit to test. Run the two-week proof of concept on a questionnaire you have already submitted. The draft that survives your own reviewers is the one to buy.

## Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Arphie and AutoRFP.ai?

Both are AI-native tools for RFPs, DDQs, and security questionnaires, and both show the sources behind a draft. Arphie, founded in 2023 in San Francisco, pulls drafts from live connections such as Google Drive, SharePoint, Confluence, Seismic, Highspot, and Vanta. AutoRFP.ai, started in 2022 and headquartered in Brisbane, writes from approved content, traces each line to a source, a person, or the AI, and adds each approved response to the library on its own.

Which is cheaper, Arphie or AutoRFP.ai?

AutoRFP.ai publishes flat annual prices: Scale at $899 a month for 24 projects a year, or Accelerate at $1,299 a month for 50, with unlimited users on every plan (vendor profile, checked against the pricing page). Arphie publishes no price list. Every quote goes through its contact form. A fair cost comparison needs Arphie's written quote next to those two published figures.

Which handles security questionnaires and DDQs better?

Arphie's profile is built for presales and sales-engineering teams, with a native Vanta connection for compliance evidence and a confidence score on each draft. AutoRFP.ai's best documented work is structured RFPs in Word and Excel, and it also covers DDQs, writing answers back into the buyer's original file. It does not ship a trust center; it connects to Drata and Vanta so that portal stays separate.

Do Arphie and AutoRFP.ai work in Slack, and what about Microsoft Teams?

AutoRFP.ai's profile lists both Slack and Microsoft Teams, plus Okta. Arphie's profile lists Slack, Salesforce, Google Drive, SharePoint, Confluence, and Vanta. This guide's Arphie integration list also includes Notion, Seismic, Highspot, Box, Dropbox, and Egnyte. It does not name Microsoft Teams.

Can I try Arphie or AutoRFP.ai before I buy?

Arphie's profile records no free tier and no self-serve plan. AutoRFP.ai has no free plan either. It offers a 30-day money-back guarantee and says a proof of concept is available before you commit. Getting started on your own is described as straightforward, with implementation included on every plan.

Should I choose Arphie or AutoRFP.ai?

Choose Arphie if the current answers already live in drives, wikis, enablement tools, or Vanta, and a custom quote is acceptable. Choose AutoRFP.ai if you want a number on the page, unlimited users, ISO 27001:2022 alongside SOC 2 Type II, and hosting you can elect in the US, the EU, or Australia.

Do Arphie and AutoRFP.ai list ISO 27001, SOC 2, and US or EU hosting?

Arphie: ISO 27001 Not listed, SOC 2 SOC 2 Type 2, US Not listed, EU Not listed, Slack Slack, Teams Not listed, clouds Not listed. AutoRFP.ai: ISO 27001 ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2 SOC 2 Type II, US Yes (US West, Oregon), EU Yes (EU Central, Frankfurt), Slack Slack, Teams Microsoft Teams, clouds AWS, Azure, GCP. Confirm both on the vendor sites.
