## Security: ISO 27001, SOC 2, and regional hosting

Put SiftHub and Tendrio through the same three questions a security reviewer will ask: ISO 27001, SOC 2, and whether you can keep the tenancy in the US or the EU. Cells say **Not listed** when we could not find the claim on a public vendor page.

## Slack and Microsoft Teams

During a live questionnaire, SMEs get pinged in Slack or Teams, not in a vendor portal. Here is what SiftHub and Tendrio publish for those two connections.

## Subprocessors: the big three clouds, then the niche names

Compare SiftHub and Tendrio on AWS, Azure and GCP first. Then scan for niche processors a reviewer should pause on: third-party LLMs, session replay, or support that leaves the region you elected.

[SiftHub](/sifthub) answers questions. [Tendrio](/tendrio) reads requirements. That one-line split covers most of this comparison, and it is worth sitting with before looking at features, because the two products get lumped together under “AI for RFPs” while doing quite different work on the same document.

Give SiftHub a security questionnaire and it fills in the answers, inside the Excel, Word, or Google file the buyer sent, with a citation on each one. Give Tendrio a tender package and it tells you which requirements your product meets, partially meets, or misses, with references to your own documentation, so you can decide whether to bid at all. One is built for a SaaS presales team clearing questionnaires so deals keep moving. The other is built for an engineering or defense bid team deciding which tenders deserve a month of effort. Below is how they compare on the real work, what each costs to run, and the documented problems to check, using sources dated October 2026.

## Key takeaways

- **Different jobs on similar paperwork:** SiftHub drafts and fills answers to RFPs, DDQs, and security questionnaires. Tendrio extracts tender requirements, matches them against your product documentation, and recommends go or no-go.
- **Different buyers:** SiftHub’s named customers are software companies (Superhuman, Sirion, Zycus, Rocketlane, Allego, ActivTrak). Tendrio targets engineering, technology, manufacturing, and defense, and belongs to the Czechoslovak Group (CSG).
- **Both meter usage:** SiftHub charges in transactions consumed by answers, proposals, and insights. Tendrio sizes plans by monthly requirement evaluations and active tenders. Neither publishes a price.
- **Languages cut opposite ways:** SiftHub says it handles questionnaires in 50+ languages. Tendrio analyzes tenders in many languages but processes your product documentation in English only.
- **Trial access differs:** Tendrio offers a one-month free trial with no credit card. SiftHub offers no free trial; you request a quote or book a demo.
- **Limitations:** SiftHub’s G2 reviewers (March to July 2026) say answers still need checking and sometimes draw on older documents. Tendrio gates AI Chat by plan and caps Starter at 3 active tenders.

## What job are you actually hiring for?

Answer this before you book a demo with either vendor.

If your week looks like a steady stream of inbound questions from buyers (security reviews, vendor assessments, RFP question sets, “can you just fill in this spreadsheet”), and the bottleneck is finding and writing the right answer, you are hiring an answer engine. SiftHub is one. Tendrio is not.

If your week looks like a pipeline of formal tenders, each with specifications and annexes, and the bottleneck is deciding which ones you can actually win before your engineers spend weeks on a bid, you are hiring a requirements reader. Tendrio is one. SiftHub is not.

Some teams have both problems. A manufacturer selling industrial software might qualify public tenders and also field security questionnaires from private buyers. In that case these tools are complements, not rivals, and the question becomes which pain to fix first.

## SiftHub: an answer engine for presales

SiftHub is a 2023 San Francisco company whose April 2024 seed ($5.5 million) came from Matrix Partners India and Blume Ventures. Its homepage has grown well beyond RFPs: it lists an RFP Agent, an Answer Agent, a BuyerIQ Agent, a Battlecard Agent, a Search Agent, a deal brief generator, a sales collateral builder, and a new in-call assistant called Pulse. The response product is the part relevant here.

For security questionnaires, SiftHub lists SIG, VSAQ, CAIQ, VSA, NIST 800-171, CIS Controls, SOC 2, and ISO 27001, plus custom formats in Word, Excel, and PDF. It works inside Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Docs and Sheets, and vendor portals. Every answer carries a citation with a last-updated timestamp, and SiftHub says it flags answers that rely on an expired certification, outdated policy, or superseded compliance document. Its DDQ product makes similar promises for due diligence questionnaires.

The knowledge side connects to Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Drive, Highspot, OneDrive, Zendesk, SharePoint, Notion, Gong, Microsoft Teams, Seismic, and Confluence. SiftHub holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022.

That breadth cuts both ways. If you want one assistant for questionnaires, battlecards, call prep, and deal briefs, SiftHub’s suite is a reason to choose it. If you only need questionnaires answered, ask whether the standalone RFP Agent quote excludes the rest, because SiftHub’s pricing page offers the RFP Agent and the full platform as separate starting points, and you should not pay transactions for agents your team will not open.

SiftHub is rated 4.5/5 on G2 from 69 reviews as of September 2026\. Its reviewers like the autofill and the support team, and are specific about where it falls short, which we cover below.

## Tendrio: a requirements reader for bid or no-bid

Tendrio was founded in 2024 in Prague. It is a small, focused product. You upload your product specs and capability statements as the reference set, upload the tender package, and Tendrio extracts each requirement, checks it against your documents, and returns a matrix: compliant, partially compliant, or a gap, each with a pointer to the supporting source. It can also draft initial comments or response text per requirement, translate tender documents, and answer questions through an AI Chat (on the higher plans).

It reads PDF, DOCX, XLSX, and CSV, exports to PDF, CSV, or Excel, and can share results by link. It runs in the cloud or fully on-premises, which matters for defense buyers who cannot send tender documents to a third-party cloud. Its customers include CS-Soft, Eldis, and CSG’s own aerospace and defense units.

Tendrio is clear that it supports bid teams rather than replacing them, and it describes the output as “a structured compliance matrix, not a summary or a chat response.” That is a fair description of both its strength and its limit.

## The same RFP, two different outputs

Imagine one document arriving at both tools: a request for proposal from a large utility, with a technical specification, a compliance annex, and a vendor security questionnaire attached.

**SiftHub** would go straight to the questionnaire. It would draft answers for the security rows from your connected knowledge, write them into the buyer’s spreadsheet, and mark each with its source and date. For the RFP’s narrative sections, it can draft responses too, though its directory record rates it capable rather than core on full RFPs, and one G2 reviewer (April 2026) found a project could autofill only one primary document, which was awkward when an RFP arrived as four separate spreadsheets.

**Tendrio** would go straight to the specification and annex. It would list every requirement, compare each to your product documentation, mark where you fall short, and recommend whether to bid. It would not fill in the security questionnaire, and it would not write the proposal.

If the go/no-go is obvious and the work is answering, SiftHub saves more time. If the go/no-go is the hard part, Tendrio saves more time, because the most expensive bid is the one you should never have written.

## Languages, formats, and where the output lands

Language support runs in opposite directions, and it matters for European and multinational teams.

SiftHub says it handles questionnaires in “50+ languages, such as French, German, Spanish,” which suits a SaaS company selling into several European markets.

Tendrio translates tender documents in the platform, so a tender written in Czech, German, or Polish can be analyzed. But its FAQ notes that product documentation “is currently processed in English.” If your spec sheets and certifications are in another language, you will need English versions before Tendrio can match against them.

On output, SiftHub writes back into the working document (Word, Excel, Google Docs or Sheets, or a portal). Tendrio exports a matrix for your bid team to use elsewhere. Neither produces a finished, formatted proposal document.

## Rollout and the first month

Both vendors promise a short start, and both are believable for different reasons.

SiftHub’s homepage says users “can go live within one week.” That is plausible because most of the setup is connecting systems you already use: point it at Google Drive, Confluence, Notion, Highspot, or SharePoint, and it starts retrieving. The real work in month one is editorial, not technical. Someone has to decide which sources count as approved, retire the stale ones, and agree on house style for answers. Skip that step and you will meet the “older documents” complaint from the reviews below on your first questionnaire. Assign an owner for source hygiene before launch, even if it is only a few hours a week.

Tendrio’s FAQ says no complex implementation is needed and that you can begin uploading tender documentation almost immediately after creating an account, which fits a cloud tool with a narrow job. The month-one work is assembling a clean reference set: current product specs, datasheets, certifications, and capability statements, in English. The quality of the compliance matrix depends almost entirely on that set. If your specs are scattered across old PDFs with conflicting versions, Tendrio will faithfully match tenders against the conflict. The on-premises option is a different project with your IT team, and Tendrio prices it separately.

A useful milestone for both: by the end of week four, you should have run at least three real documents end to end and compared the output with what your team produced by hand.

## How the pricing meters work

Both vendors price on consumption, and both keep the actual prices off their websites.

**SiftHub:** There are no public prices and no free trial. You get a custom quote for either the RFP Agent alone or the full platform, and usage is counted in transactions that answers, proposals, and insights draw down. The pricing FAQ says a request’s transaction cost scales with how complex and large it is and how many steps it takes, and that limits differ by plan or contract. The practical consequence is that a long, complex questionnaire costs more than a short one, and you will want a usage estimate in writing.

**Tendrio:** Four plans, Starter, Business, Enterprise, and Custom, all priced on request and sized by how many requirements you evaluate per month and how many tenders are active at once. A free month needs no card, and on-premises hosting is billed on top. The tiers step up from 1,000 evaluations and 3 active tenders (Starter) to 3,000 and 10 (Business) to 5,000 with no cap on active tenders (Enterprise). A Capterra listing has shown Starter at $449/month as of July 2026, which tendrio.ai does not confirm.

For budgeting: estimate your monthly questionnaire volume and average length for SiftHub, and your monthly tender count and typical requirement count for Tendrio. Then ask each vendor to price that exact profile.

## Accuracy claims versus user reports

Here the evidence gets interesting. SiftHub’s homepage claims “>99% response accuracy,” and its security questionnaire page claims “90% autofill accuracy” on the first pass. Those are vendor figures.

SiftHub’s own G2 reviewers paint a more modest picture. Between May and July 2026, several said AI answers still need manual verification. One (July 2026) estimated accuracy “around 80%.” Another (May 2026) said it sometimes mixes up the organization’s internal security controls with the product’s controls. Two (March and July 2026) said it pulled responses from older sheets even after newer ones were uploaded. Most of these reviewers still rated SiftHub highly; the complaints are the “last mile” kind. But a “90%” headline and a reviewer’s “80%” are different planning assumptions, so measure it on your own content.

Tendrio’s site gives no accuracy figure. Its claims are about speed: a compliance overview in minutes rather than days. The evaluation question is the same: run tenders you have already decided and see whether the matrix agrees with your team’s judgment.

## Known issues and watch-outs

Sources and dates are linked inline. We only list themes that show up in more than one review or in the vendor’s own documentation.

### SiftHub

- **Variable consumption cost:** the [pricing page](https://www.sifthub.io/pricing) (October 2026) ties transaction use to each request’s size and complexity, so per-questionnaire cost moves around; there is no free trial.
- **Salesforce sync lag:** the Salesforce connector is not real time; SiftHub’s [help center](https://help.sifthub.io/hc/en-us/articles/21631294955036-Salesforce-Connector) puts the delay at up to 6 hours for new or edited records (October 2026).
- **Answers still need review:** [G2 reviewers](https://www.g2.com/products/sifthub/reviews) from May to July 2026 report answers that need verification, including mixed-up product and corporate controls.
- **Stale sources:** G2 reviewers in March and July 2026 report answers drawn from older documents instead of the newest uploads.

### Tendrio

- **English-only product documents:** per the [FAQ](https://www.tendrio.ai/faq) (October 2026), your reference documentation must be in English.
- **AI Chat by plan:** the [pricing page](https://www.tendrio.ai/pricing) shows no AI Chat on Starter, chat over documents on Business, and chat over tenders only on Enterprise and Custom (October 2026).
- **Starter limits and on-prem cost:** the entry plan stops at three tenders in flight and 1,000 evaluations per month, and running Tendrio on your own servers adds setup and maintenance fees.
- **Not a writing tool:** Tendrio produces analysis and per-requirement comments; you still need somewhere to write and assemble the bid.

## Pick SiftHub when

- Your team is SaaS presales or solutions engineering, and inbound security questionnaires and DDQs slow your deals.
- You want answers written directly into the buyer’s Excel, Word, or Google file, with a source on each.
- Your knowledge lives across Confluence, Notion, Google Drive, Highspot, Gong, and Slack.
- You sell into several language markets.
- You are willing to verify answers and to negotiate a clear transaction estimate.

## Pick Tendrio when

- You bid on formal tenders in engineering, technology, manufacturing, or defense.
- Your biggest waste is bids written for tenders you could not win.
- Your product documentation is in English and reasonably complete.
- You need an on-premises option for sensitive documents.
- You want to test the full product for a month before talking price.

## Bottom line

SiftHub is the better tool for answering. Tendrio is the better tool for deciding whether to answer. Neither replaces the other, and a team with both problems could reasonably run both.

Credit where due: SiftHub covers more questionnaire formats, more languages, and more knowledge sources than most tools its age, and its reviewers are candid that it saves real time. Tendrio does one narrow job with a clear, auditable output, offers an on-premises version, and lets you try it free for a month. Choose based on where your hours actually go, then test it on documents you already know the right answer to.
