Frequently asked questions

Why browse RFP software by role?

The same RFP lands on different desks. A proposal manager cares about assignments and review, a sales engineer about drafting from product docs, and a security lead about evidence and sign-off. Each role page explains what that team needs and which tools say they serve it.

How are tools matched to a role?

Only on published evidence: the vendor’s own description of who it is for, its key features, or its sourced research notes. Each listing quotes the evidence it rests on.

What if a role has fewer tools?

We publish a role page once at least 3 published tools qualify. Some pages, such as investor relations, say plainly which tools describe the workflow directly and which only come close.

Are the tools ranked?

No. Each page lists tools A to Z with the reason they fit, so you can shortlist by your own workload rather than our order.
