Answer libraries, review and access
Which RFP software flags outdated or duplicate answers?
Short answer
13 tools document some form of stale, duplicate or conflict detection: Arphie, Conveyor, Iris, Skypher, Inventive AI, SecurityPal and 7 more. If your library is large, favour automatic duplicate merging; if your evidence changes often, favour tools that flag answers whose source document has been replaced.

Why this question matters
Answer libraries rot quietly. Two versions of the same SLA answer drift apart, a policy is replaced and nobody updates the twelve answers that quote it, and an expired certificate keeps getting cited. Detection features catch this before a buyer does.
Which one fits your situation
- If you maintain a large hand-curated library, start with Arphie, Conveyor and Iris.
- If you answer security reviews that cite certificates, start with Arphie, Conveyor and Iris.
What to test in a trial
- Seed the library with two near-duplicate answers that disagree and see what gets flagged.
- Replace a policy document and check which answers are marked for review.
- Ask for a content-health report and see whether it names owners for each stale answer.
Caveats
- Flagging is only useful with an owner to act on it. Check how alerts are routed.
- Tools that draft from live documents instead of a library avoid some duplication by design.
How we decided who qualifies
Only RFP, DDQ and questionnaire response tools with a published profile are checked. A tool is named here only when its record shows the rule above, either in a sourced research fact or in the reviewed profile, and we publish an answer only when at least three tools qualify. A tool missing from the table may still do this; it has not been documented in a way we could source. Read the research methodology for how facts are dated and corrected.
More questions on this topic
How often should an RFP answer library be reviewed?
Tie reviews to source changes rather than a calendar where you can, and run a full sweep before your busiest season.
What causes duplicate answers?
Several people saving tailored versions of the same answer. Merging them into one approved answer with variants keeps search results clean.
Can AI tools work without a library at all?
Some draft straight from connected documents. That shifts upkeep to the documents themselves, which still need owners.
