Which RFP software has human-in-the-loop review?
Short answer
34 response tools record review and approval controls that keep a person in the loop: AutoRFP.ai, Arphie, Tribble, Conveyor, SecurityPal, Vendict and 28 more. If one person reviews everything, simple assignment is enough; if legal, security and finance each approve their own sections, look for multi-step approvals and an audit trail.

Why this question matters
Human-in-the-loop means a named person accepts, edits or rejects each AI draft before it goes out. The workflow decides how practical that is: who gets assigned which question, how they are reminded, and whether the final approval is recorded.
Which one fits your situation
- If you need multi-step approvals across departments, start with AutoRFP.ai, SecurityPal and Vendict.
- If you want reviewers to see the source behind each draft, start with AutoRFP.ai, Arphie and Tribble.
What to test in a trial
- Assign one question each to three reviewers in different teams and track how long sign-off takes.
- Check whether a reviewer without a paid seat can approve.
- Pull the audit trail for one answer: draft, edits, approver and date.
Caveats
- A capable score can still mean basic assignment without multi-step routing. Read the evidence line.
- Approval steps on higher plans only are common; check the plan notes on each profile.
How we decided who qualifies
Only RFP, DDQ and questionnaire response tools with a published profile are checked. A tool is named here only when its record shows the rule above, either in a sourced research fact or in the reviewed profile, and we publish an answer only when at least three tools qualify. A tool missing from the table may still do this; it has not been documented in a way we could source. Read the research methodology for how facts are dated and corrected.
More questions on this topic
What does human-in-the-loop mean for RFP software?
Every AI draft is reviewed and accepted by a person before submission, with a record of who approved what.
Does review slow AI drafting down?
It moves the time from writing to checking. Source links and confidence signals make that checking faster.
Should subject matter experts get a full seat?
Not necessarily. Many teams give experts a lighter reviewer role; check how each vendor licenses it.
